横浜AIR
横浜では、アーティストが地域に滞在し、作品を制作する「アーティスト・イン・レジデンス」が取り組まれています。
市内には、AIRプログラムを実施する拠点のほかにも、アーティストの創造性を刺激するスペースや劇場をはじめとした様々なスポットも集積しています。
現在まで、国内外のアーティストが横浜で滞在制作に臨む環境が育まれ、また、世界の諸地域との連携のもと、アーティストが横浜から海外へ派遣されるAIRプログラムも実施されています。
滞在先は横浜、「まち」というスケール。横浜を自由に、まち全体をつかったレジデンスを体験してください。
YOKOHAMA Artist in Residence
In Yokohama, a program titled "Artist in Residence (AIR)" has been running for which artists stay in the area to produce work.
There is a base in the city to carry out AIR, and various art venues and theaters have been listed up that could inspire the artists' creativity.
Up to the present, a certain environment has been cultivated for the participant artists to stay and produce work in Yokohama.
Also, another program of AIR has been carried out that dispatches artists abroad from Yokohama, provided in cooperation with various people and places in other countries.
AIR artists are encouraged to take a full advantage of staying in Yokohama and experience the entire city.
